ipx update interval
Command Mode Interface Configuration.
Description Adjusts the RIP or SAP update interval. The no form of this command
restores the default, of 60 seconds.
Syntax
Sample Output The following example modifies the RIP update interval to 1000 seconds on
an interface labeled “boston”.
(config-if:boston)# ipx update interval rip 1000

The minimum interval is 10 seconds.
• sap - Adjusts the interval at which SAP updates are sent.
The minimum interval is 10 seconds.
<seconds> The update interval. The range is 10 - 604800 seconds.
