Editing Trap Parameters

You can specify which traps the SNMP agent sends to the network management

station.

Conﬁguring Traps

To specify which traps the agent sends, based on slot, protocol entity, and severity

level, begin at the Conﬁguration Manager window (refer to Figure 1-3) and

complete the following steps:

1. Select Protocols➔IP➔SNMP➔Trap Conﬁguration➔Interfaces.

The Trap Conﬁguration window appears (Figure 1-14).

Select the slot for which you want to conﬁgure traps.

You select a slot by clicking on the bar in the Slot box.
