86 Using the Element Manager
If these values are incorrect, enter the appropriate IP range.
Network Elements window
If these values do not represent the private subnet of the SMB
devices, update the IP address range fields to match the pr ivate
subnet for your SMB devices, and then click
OK. A progress bar
appears in the Network Device Search dialog box during the search
of the pr ivate subnet.
If no devices are found, an information dialog box appears to inform
you of this fact.

From the Network Elements Tree, select the BES device.

Ensure that the Read Community and the Write Community
strings are set properly.

From the Element Manager menu, click the Connect button, as
shown in the above.
