ISDN BRI T-loops
BRI modules support both trunk and station (telephone) services.
Configuring prerequisites for BRI T-loops
Complete the following prerequisites checklist before configuring the
modules.

for T-loop programming).

trunks (T-loop) or device connections (S-loop).
Attention: This variable can be different for

Select a sampling rate for the S-loop.
Fixed: two or more S-interface devices use the
loop, and the length of the loop is less than 200 m
(650 ft.).
Adaptive: two or more S-interface devices use the
loop, and the length of the loop is greater than 200
m (650 ft.). If one device is using the loop, the
length of the loop can be a maximum of 1000 m
(3230 ft)

Set the Outgoing Name and Number (ONN)
Blocking.
When you activate ONN, a user can press
FEATURE 819 to block the outgoing name and
number on a per call basis.
Programming note: Ensure that all telephones
that have this feature available are assigned valid
OLI numbers. Refer to “Programming outgoing
number display (OLI)” on page 217.
