Chapter 4

Expansion module installation

Complete the procedures in this chapter to install the expansion modules for IP Phone 1200 series

phones. The procedures in this section are applicable to both the LCD Expansion Module:12-Key

Self-Labeling and the LED Expansion Module:18-Key Paper Label.

Complete the procedures in this chapter to

• attach the expansion module to an IP Phone

• wall-mount the IP Phone and expansion module

• attach the expansion module foot stand

Prerequisites

• If you are wall-mounting an IP Phone, ensure you have the following tools:

— Phillips or flat-head screwdriver, depending on the type of screws you have

—two screws

— pen or pencil

—rule

• Ensure you have expansion module foot stands—one for each expansion module.
