b. If the <givenName> field does not contain an entry, edit the field
<givenName>first name</givenName> where first name is the user's first
name.
Note:
The entry for this field is derived from the Full Name field that is configured
when a user is added to the system. The Full Name field is configured in IP
Office Manager under User > User tab. If the Full Name field was not
completed when the user was added to the system, the <givenName> field
for the user will be blank when the user is exported to the xml file. The
<givenName> field must contain a value. Do not use punctuation characters
such as #, ?, /, or ,. Do not begin the entry with a space.
c. Edit the field <loginName>login name for the user</loginName> where login
name for the user is in the format [email protected], for example

name</surname> where last name is the user's last name.

the password complies with the System Manager user password constraints.
The System Manager user password cannot be only numeric. This is the
password used to log into System Manager.
3. Save and close the xml file.
Bulk importing of users
Procedure
1. From the System Manager console, under Services, select Bulk Import and
Export.
2. Click Import > User Management > Users.
3. On the Import users page, in the Select File field, enter the complete path of the
file.
