The option -d sec allows VTCPD to start using the connection again after a
specified time period. The option -D sec is used to close the specified connection.
This permits the connection to be reused.
Changing Data Length
The optional LENGTH parameter in the application SEND command allows the
number of characters sending to the VTCPD daemon to be specified. This is used
when the amount of data is changed and the program is using the same SEND buffer.
Do not use this parameter with the fixed length message format (option -f len ).
The length specified must not be less then the total length of the message.
The length may also be modified by truncating the trailing spaces using the VTCPD -
m t option. This option is ignored if the LENGTH is specified.
