Message: Netboot <bconfig or ifconfig> Technician Interface command failed.

Meaning: While using the bconfig or ifconfig command in the Technician Interface to configure

netboot, an SNMP set, get, or commit failed. This may cause your netboot

configuration to be incomplete.

Action: Refer to Using Technician Interface Software for information on the bconfig and

ifconfig commands. Attempt the command again.

Severity: Warning

Message: Checksum error detected in <executable filename>.

Meaning: During ASN netboot, a TFTP was initiated to download <executable filename> to the

router platform. After download it was determined that the executable file failed the

checksum test making it invalid for use. The router platform will return to local boot.

Action: Attempt the netboot again.

Severity: Warning

Message: Error downloading <executable_filename> to <start_memory_address>, max size <size

of memory area for download> -> status = <error_status_code>.

Meaning: When this message appears, the <error_status_code> = 0 and indicates failure. There was

an error during the download phase of ASN netboot. The <executable_filename> had a

download error. The router platform will return to local boot.

Action: Attempt the netboot again.
