Meaning: The Autopartition state of the AUI port has changed. The AUI port on the 8-port ANH is

automatically partitioned by the hardware if it encounters excessive collisions. This event

status indicates that the AUI port was PARTITIONED or RECONNECTED after

autopartitioning. This event occurs only on the 8-port ANH. (There is no AUI port on the

12-port ANH.)

Fault Events

Severity: Fault

Message: System error, service attempting restart.

Meaning: The hardware compression driver software encountered a problem from which it could not

recover. This is usually accompanied by another message indicating the specific nature of

the problem.

Action: The hardware compression driver will restart. Save the log and configuration file if

possible, because it might indicate why the crash occurred.
