Severity: Info

Message: Attempt to connect line <line number>, llindex <llindex number>, circuit <circuit

number>, vcid <VC ID number> has timed out.

Meaning: One side of the specified Frame Relay, X.25, or PPP connection has WCP configured and

has tried to initiate compression with the other side of the connection, which apparently

does not have compression configured. The attempt has timed out. Data flows across the

connection, but without compression.

number>, vcid <VC ID number> has timed out.

Meaning: One side of the specified Frame Relay, X.25, or PPP connection has tried to discontinue

compression with the other side of the connection. The attempt has timed out.

Trace Event

Entity Code/Event Code 84/12

Decimal Identifier 16798732

Severity: Trace

Message: Bad decompressor status. Resetting.

Meaning: The decompressor is out of synchronization with the compressor on the other side of the

link. The router automatically reestablishes the connection and renegotiates compression.

DCMMW Events

The RMON data collection module (DCM) middleware, referred to as the

DCMMW entity, issues the following event messages. The entity code assigned to

DCMMW events is 96.
