15-601042 Issue 28g (11 October 2013)IP Office 9.0
10.11.38 5601
This phone is similar in physical appearance and functions to the 4601. However the 5601 phone is only supported on IP
Office. The 5601+ is the RoHS compliant version that has replaced the previous 5601 IP model but is otherwise the
same.
This phone requires a separate power supply, using either a Avaya 1151D1 or 1151D2 power supply unit and power cord
or a 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) source.
· The availability of VCM (Voice Compression Module) channels is necessary to support IP telephony. For IP
Office 6.0+, these phones require an Avaya IP Endpoints license.
